JOIN THE MA CONSUMER DIRECT COMMUNITY, JOIN 1199SEIU!

Being a consumer direct caregiver can be isolating and frustrating – that's why we’re building a community of homecare workers: to come together, talk about our issues, and take action to improve our industry.

1199SEIU represents 60,000 PCAs in Massachusetts, but there are currently 5,000 home care workers who do the same work as PCA's yet are not covered by the PCA contract. Joining other consumer direct care workers, you can fight to have the same benefits and pay schedule as other MA home care workers. We’re asking MA consumer direct caregivers to be a part of our community and realize the benefits of union membership.
